Manhattan
Manhattan is the city and urban core of the New York metropolitan area. In fact, it is the most densely populated of all the five boroughs of New York City. It is the city’s main administrative and economic hub with major industrial presence which makes it highly desirable for businesses.
Manhattan has often been dubbed as the cultural, economical, financial, media, and entertainment capital of the world. The city is also home to two of the world’s largest stock exchanges NASDAQ and New York Stock Exchange. It has a population of 1,628, 706 with a density of 72,918 residents per square mile.
The city is home to three of the most visited places in the world. Central Park, Times Square and Grand Central Terminal. Manhattan was inhabited by the Lenape Native Americans back in 1524.
Manhattan largely has a subtropical climate with snowy winters and warm humid summers. Plus, it’s mostly cloudy and wet throughout the year. The best time to visit Manhattan is April to June and November-December. April to June is spring while November-December is all about Christmas and Thanksgiving.
